Causes

Aconitum apellus

This is a remedy that can be used to relieve anxiety. This remedy can be useful if a person experiences a lot of shaking or very cold, and retains urine.

Apis mellifica

This is indicated if the person needs to urinate frequently but only small amounts are being passed. The person may feel burning and stinging sensations, especially when the last few drops are used up. The symptoms are worsened by heat and touch. Belladonna

Berberis vulgaris

Walking can cause discomfort and urging.

Borax

This treatment can help with cystitis by reducing pain in the urinary opening, aching in bladder and feeling like the urine is being retained. Children might scream or cry, fearful of having to urinate as they feel the pain coming. Borax can be used for those who are sensitive or inclined to motion sickness.

Chimaphila umbellata

This remedy is useful if a person experiences a strong urge to urinate, but must strain or stand straight up to get it to stop. The urine may feel hot and scalding as it flows. There might also be a sensation of straining.

Clematis

If a person needs to urinate often but only a little, this remedy might be recommended. The feeling of constriction in the urinary tract may cause a sensation of tightness. It is possible to feel a tingling sensation that lasts long after the last urination.
